Anthropic announced the Claude Platform Compliance API on March 30, 2026. The company says it gives admins programmatic access to organization audit logs, including admin activity and system-level events. For enterprise security teams, this moves Claude usage tracking from manual checks to direct pipeline ingestion into SIEM and governance workflows.

The launch matters because AI tools have crossed from pilot projects into core workflows. That shift creates a familiar problem from earlier SaaS eras: security teams need continuous records, not screenshots and one-off exports. Anthropic is framing the API as infrastructure for that exact use case.
